My name is Mike Weisser and welcome to Mybooksandbooklets, a listing of the indie books that I have written and published covering current politics and events. Warning - I am a very yellow-dog Democrat!
I was educated in New York City public schools and earned a Ph.D. in Economic History from Northwestern University in 1971.
I have been a published author since 1977 when my first book was published by University of Chicago Press. I then published books with Harvester Press and Basic Books.

I started publishing indie books because I was too old to wait 18 months for a trade press to do one of my books and I wasn't going to listen to some snot-nosed kid with an MA degree tell me how to write.

These books run anywhere between 75 and 200 pages, are fully annotated and are all available on Amazon at the lowest price which Amazon will allow me to publish books at the respective length.

I hope you enjoy reading my books and I look forward to hearing from you with any thoughts that my books might provoke.

Just to keep busy I also do a daily rant on Medium and Substack under my name.
